Chiropractic Adjustments

The goal of a chiropractic adjustment is to improve joint motion by freeing up segments that are restricted in the spine and extremities. It involves safe, quick, low impulse thrusts to achieve the restoration of optimal joint mobility and function.

Active Release Technique

Active Release Technique® (ART) is a soft tissue technique that is designed to treat problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, and fascia. Active Release Technique® targets scar tissue to restore proper muscle movement, length, strength, and blood flow. The end result is increased functionality, improved range of motion, better stability, and most importantly, the elimination of pain. Because of its specificity, the ART certification requires additional training and certification that goes far beyond traditional soft tissue techniques.

Graston Technique

Like Active Release Technique, Graston Technique breaks down the scar tissues formed due to overuse of muscles or injuries. It is the instrument-assisted mobilization of soft tissues, primarily targeting fascia, muscles, ligaments, and tendons.
This therapy helps the practitioner locate areas of restriction and increase blood flow in that area by massaging. Consequently, the healing rate of the affected tissue is increased.

Fascial Distortion Model

Fascial Distortion Model (FDM) is a treatment model in which all soft tissue injuries, or musculoskeletal complaints, are viewed through 1 or more of the 6 different types of alterations to the body’s connective tissues.
FDM contains a detailed physical assessment, that leads to a specific diagnosis, and provides objective outcomes. The patient’s verbal and physical descriptions, coupled with the mechanism of injury and relevant orthopedic tests, will lead the practitioner to the proper form of soft tissue treatment.

KAATSU Training

KAATSU is patented automated pressure equipment that comprises of a handheld compressor and pneumatic, stretchable bands that are placed around your arms or legs in order to optimize blood circulation and hormonal production for health, fitness, rehabilitation, and recovery. The bands inflate and deflate based on algorithms that boost circulation, improve hormonal balance, and develop muscle tone in a time-effective manner with minimum of effort.
KAATSU causes biochemical reactions that enable you to:
1. Increase the elasticity of your vascular tissue
2. Increase the production of hormones and metabolites including Human Growth Hormone, NO (nitric oxide), IGF-1 (Insulin Growth Factor), VEGF (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor), ceramides, plasmalogens, beta endorphins, and testosterone.
KAATSU is used in three primary areas: athletic performance, rehabilitation from injuries, and recovery from vigorous training or surgeries.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy helps with blood circulation and releases muscle tension. We practice dynamic cupping with exercises to bring more blood flow to the affected tissues. This increases mobility, range of motion, corrects movement pattern dysfunctions and can also relieve pain.
